Petitioner, Sonu Kumar Yadav, is in custody since 25.05.2016 in Sherghatti P.S. Case No. 297 of 2016 registered under Sections 272, 273 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code read with 47(a) of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act,2016.

According to prosecution case, from the possession of this petitioner and co-accused, Amit Kumar, 25 bottles each containing 750 M.L. english wine were recovered.

Considering the quantity of the liquor recovered and the period of detention of this petitioner, I direct the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand rupees only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya in connection with Sherghatti P.S. Case No. 297 of 2016.
