The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Majhauliya P.S. Case No.157 of 2017 registered for the offence under Sections 395 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is to have snatched a bag containing amount of Rs. 80,145/- along with other articles including person amount of Rs.7,000/- from the informant, where, informant is Manager of Bharat Financial Inclusion Limited.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case, where, petitioner is not named in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25510 of 2024(2) dt.09-04-2024 2/2 the FIR and his name surfaced on the basis of confessional statement of other co-accused persons. It is submitted that nothing articles have been recovered against this petitioner, during course of investigation, which may connect this petitioner with the present set of occurrence. It is also submitted that similarly situated co-accused person has already been granted bail by different learned co-ordinate Bench of this Court through Cr. Misc. No.18852 of 2018 on 03.04.2018 and Cr. Misc. No.59871 of 2019 on 24.09.2019 It is further submitted that petitioner is in custody since 06.07.2017. 5.

Learned APP appearing for the State, opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner. 6.

Considering the facts and circumstances and submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail in connection with Majhauliya P.S. Case No.157 of 2017 on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 4th A.D.J., Bettiah, West Champaran.
