The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "a) To quash the final result of Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment) published in the daily news paper on 23.06.2015, for which vacancies had been issued vide Advertisement No.01/2014, as the same is result of mass bungling and malpractice

Patna High Court CWJC No.12751 of 2015(2) dt.31-08-2023 2/3 by the successful candidates and Member/Chairman of the Selection Board as contained in annexure-6 to this application.

(b) To hold proper enquiry/investigation from any independent agency so that the mass bungling committed during the entire process of selection may be unfolded, and c) Further, pending disposal of this application, stay the joining of successful candidates, whose roll numbers have been published in the impugned result."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the respondent-Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment), Bihar, Patna has submitted that though the marks obtained by the petitioner in her category, i.e. General Female Non-Home Guard Category is 117, but the cut-off mark is 120, hence, she has not been selected, thus, the present writ petition is devoid of any merit. It is further submitted that the petitioner cannot aprobate and reprobate at the same time, inasmuch as after participating in the selection process and failing to succeed in the same, she cannot now challenge the selection process. 3.

Nonetheless, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other remedies as are otherwise available under the law for redressal

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands dismissed, being devoid of any merit.
