The petitioner is in custody in connection with Khajekalan P.S. Case No. 299 of 2022 for the offence under Sections 363, 366A of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 12.10.2022.

The petitioner is said to have taken away the minor victim girl. The victim girl in her statement recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C has said that the petitioner was not involved in her abduction. She has further stated that she has left the house out of her own will.
