2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Bahera P. S. Case No. 439/2023 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B, 120B, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. It is a case of dowry death. The prosecution case, in brief, is that daughter of informant was married with this petitioner and thereafter, it is alleged that all the F.I.R. named accused persons including this petitioner started demanding dowry and subsequently, daughter of the informant was killed due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19693 of 2025(3) dt.09-05-2025 2/2 behalf of the petitioner that petitioner, being husband of the deceased, has falsely been implicated in this case. As a matter of fact, deceased committed suicide by slitting her throat. Petitioner is in custody since 24.01.2025. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the bail application.

6. Considering the fact that petitioner is husband of the deceased and there is specific allegation against him of committing murder of the deceased, prayer for bail of the petitioner is refused.
