The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sakra P.S. Case No.365 of 2021 registered for offences under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Recovery of illicit liquor has been made from the joint house of Mukesh Kumar and Santosh Kumar and petitioner has been made accused only on secret information. The petitioner has clean antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts, this application for anticipatory bail is allowed.

Accordingly, let petitioner, above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, be

No.22903 of 2022(2) dt.06-05-2022 2/2 released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Excise Court No.1, Muzaffarpur in connection with Sakra P.S. Case No.365 of 2021, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.

The petitioner will visit Sakra Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
