The petitioner seeks bail in Tajpur P.S. Case No. 6 of 2017 corresponding to Sessions Trial No. 417 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Section 302 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, this petitioner along with others caused multiple injuries by means of knife on the person of Pramod Singh (brother of informant) causing his death. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that there is general and omnibus allegation and no specific overt act has been alleged against this petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 27.05.2019 having no criminal antecedent. Investigation is complete.

No.30219 of 2021(4) dt.21-10-2021 2/2 Counsel for the informant however, vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that specific allegation of stabbing is against petitioner and two other coaccused resulting into death of informant's brother.
