22-12-2016 Heard Sri Vikramdeo Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Public Prosecutor. The sole petitioner, who is in custody only since 09-09-2016 on an allegation of recovery of 7 Kg. & 750 gm. of Ganja, has prayed for grant of bail in Kudra P.S. Case No. 242 of 2016 registered for offence under Sections 20(b)(ii) (B)/27(A) of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. It was argued that petitioner is having clean antecedent.

However, considering the weight of recovered Ganja as well as lesser period of custody, presently, I am not inclined to grant bail.
