Appellate Authority- cum- District Programme Officer, Saran at Chapra in Anganwari Case

Patna High Court CWJC No.5494 of 2024(2) dt.18-04-2024 2/3 No. 32 of 2021 (Kiran Devi Vs. Child Development Project Officer, Parsa and others) whereby and where under the said authority has terminated to the petitioner from the post of Anganwari Sevika and also directed to the respondent no. 6 to issue selection letter in favour of respondent no. 8 within a week.

(ii) And also for quashing the order dated 21.08.2023 passed in Aanganwari Appeal No. 07 of 2021 (Ritu Kumari Vs. Kiran Devi and others) by which the District Magistrate, Saran at Chapra (Respondent No.

3) dismissed for default to the said Appeal filed by the petitioner just in mechanical manner despite appearance slip has already been filed by the learned counsel for the appellant/ petitioner.

(iii) And also for directed to the concern respondent to made selection of the petitioner in view of Letter No. 977 dated 29.06.2020 passed by the District programme Officer (ICDS) by which who has directed to the respondent no. 6 to complete selection process of ward no. 9 of Gram Panchayat Shobhepur for the petitioner in view of departmental guideline - 2016."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the

Patna High Court CWJC No.5494 of 2024(2) dt.18-04-2024 3/3 petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, including that of filing a civil suit before the learned civil court of competent jurisdiction. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
