====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 17-07-2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Nadi P. S. Case No. 129 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution case, this petitioner along with other F.I.R. named accused persons committed murder of the sister of informant due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased and is simply a victim of over implication. Thrust of accusation is against the husband of deceased, namely, Sitaram Rai who has already been acquitted from all the charges by learned Additional Sessions

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19985 of 2026(3) dt.17-07-2026 2/2 Judge-V, Patna City vide Sessions Trial No. 58 of 2019 arising out of Nadi P. S. Case No. 129 of 2017. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and is in custody since 08.02.2026.

5. However, learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this bail application is allowed. The petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Patna City in connection with Nadi P. S. Case No. 129 of 2017.
