Petitioner is in custody since 20.06.2016 in connection with Mahua P.S. Case No. 218 of 2016 registered under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Accusation is of murder.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there is no direct allegation against this petitioner rather the specific allegation of assault is against Ravindra Majhi. The petitioner is in custody for the six months.

Learned A.P.P. on the other hand opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the witnesses have supported the version of the prosecution.

Considering the nature of accusation, this Court is not

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.51056 of 2016 (3) dt.13-02-2017 inclined to grant regular bail to this petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of this petitioner is rejected.
