2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Thakurganj P.S. Case No. 02 of 2025 dated 04.01.2025 registered for the offences punishable under sections 103(1), 80 and 61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. The main submissions advanced by petitioner's counsel are that the petitioner is the brother of the husband of the deceased and against him the investigation has been completed, in fact he was not present at the house when the deceased died and she committed suicide and after her death, the deceased's husband informed the parental family members of the deceased about the incident and in this regard, the FIR

No.20977 of 2025(2) dt.28-04-2025 2/2 itself is relevant and on the alleged day and time of occurrence, the petitioner was in Siliguri for the purpose of dialysis of his father and in this regard, the relevant documents have been filed with this petition as Annexure- P/2.

4. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer of the petitioner.

5. In the facts and circumstances of this case and mainly considering the petitioner's relationship with the deceased, completion of investigation against him as well as his aforesaid submission as to his presence in Siliguri for the purpose of dialysis of his father, this Court is inclined to grant the relief of bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/-(Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the court concerned in connection with Thakurganj P.S.
