Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State Counsel Under order dated 16.04.2021, this Court had entertained this application based on submissions of the

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.553 of 2021(5) dt.23-08-2021 2/3 petitioner's counsel that the petitioner has made an application to the Superintendent of Police, Bhabua to find out whether any U.D. case has been lodged based on recovery of an unidentified dead body at Ramnagar or its vicinity in the State of Uttar Pradesh. This was based on submission of petitioner's counsel that the petitioner is an illiterate old lady.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a counter affidavit has been filed by the Superintendent of Police. Concerned Superintendent of Police has placed on record the details of various U.D. cases lodged under Section 174 Cr.P.C. in the vicinity. He, however, submits that the petitioner has also made an application for the samples being sent to the Central Forensic Science Laboratory, Haderabad. It is stated in the counter affidavit that appropriate direction has been issued by the Additional Director General of Police to bring the same to its logical conclusion. Petitioner's counsel submits that he would be taking recourse to his remedy available before the trial court.

With liberty as aforesaid, the application stands disposed of.

This Court would expect that the petitioner's
