This application for regular bail arises out of Laheriasarai P.S. Case No. 82 of 2020, disclosing offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

This is the sixth consecutive occasion, when learned counsel for the petitioner has not turned up. The petitioner is in custody since 07.02.2020. This Court does not have any clue whether charge-sheet has been submitted or not and whether for non-submission of the chargesheet, the petitioner has been allowed privilege of regular bail under Section 167(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. In such circumstance, this application is accordingly,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19222 of 2020(8) dt.08-01-2021 2/2 dismissed.

The petitioner shall have, however, a liberty to approach this Court seeking regular bail by filing a fresh application.
