JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 10-05-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State and learned counsel for respondent no. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the request of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground is still pending with the competent authority. It is submitted that the brother of the petitioner died in harness on 03.06.2020. The petitioner is said to have applied for appointment on compassionate ground and has submitted her documents as demanded by the Zila Parishad, Buxar vide Annexure '4' to the writ application.

Learned counsel for respondent no. 3 is present. In the given facts and circumstances, this Court directs respondent no. 3 to look into the grievance of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.5586 of 2023(2) dt.10-05-2023 2/2 petitioner and in case, the petitioner is found eligible to be considered for appointment on compassionate ground, her application be considered expeditiously and in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
