In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Lakhisarai P.S. Case No. 235 of 2016 registered for offences under sections 302/201/120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation has been made of kidnapping and killing the victim. The name of the petitioner has come during investigation and that has been asserted in the statement recorded under section 164 Cr.P.C.

The petitioner has placed reliance on the case of Babloo Singh, who has already been granted bail by this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 43787 of 2016.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.43349 of 2016 (4) dt.14-12-2016 2/2 The case of petitioner is on different footing and on that account, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to him. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
