Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under section 307 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code as well as section 27 of the Arms Act.

Petitioner is said to have opened fire causing firearm injury to the informant's mother and injury report of the informant's mother goes to show that she sustained firearm injury. No doubt, there is case and counter case between the parties and persons from both sides appear to have sustained injuries but taking into consideration the allegation levelled against the petitioner as well as facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail and hence, his prayer for bail in connection with Chauri P.S. Case no. 65/2016 pending in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhojpur at Ara stands rejected, at least,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39218 of 2016 (4) dt.08-12-2016 at this stage. However, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after framing of the charge.
