JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 24-10-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections-385, 386, 387/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 13, 16, 18 of the U.P. Act.
Petitioner is named in the first information report with specific allegation of making demand of extortion money from the informant. The petitioner does have criminal antecedent of near about 11 cases of serious nature.
Therefore, considering the criminal antecedent of the petitioner as well as the allegation, levelled against him, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail and accordingly, his prayer for bail in connection with Chiksaura P.S. Case No. 29 of 2016 stands rejected.
