JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 18-07-2023 Learned counsel representing M.S.A.R. +2 High School (respondent no. 8) has informed this Court that the relevant records to carry out corrections in the date of birth of the petitioner in the marksheet, original certificate, registration letter, admit card and provisional certificate have been sent to the Regional Head Office of Bihar School Examination Board at Muzaffarpur on 22nd of June, 2023. It is submitted that now there is no impediment in carrying out necessary corrections as per the school records.

Patna High Court CWJC No.6760 of 2019(7) dt.18-07-2023 2/2 Learned counsel for the Bihar School Examination Board (in short 'Board') submits that if the records has been received, the Board shall act on that basis and necessary steps shall be taken to carry out the corrections in all the records. This Court has been informed by learned counsel for the petitioner that based on the earlier records, the petitioner has now passed Intermediate examination from the Bihar School Examination Board, hence, the date of birth on the certificates of the Intermediate would also require correction. In the given facts and circumstances, this Court directs the Secretary, Bihar School Examination Board, Tirhut Division, Muzaffarpur (respondent no.

6) to take appropriate steps towards redressal of the grievance of the petitioner, carry out the corrections based on the records made available to the Board and make available the corrected marksheet, original certificates, registration letter, admit card and provisional certificate etc. to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
