This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Belaganj P.S. Case No. 298 of 2018, disclosing offences punishable under Sections 412, 413, 414, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner has criminal antecedent as has been stated in paragraph no. 3 of the application. His name has emerged in course of investigation on the basis of confessional statement of a co-accused, leading to recovery of stolen articles. In my opinion, no case for grant of anticipatory bail is made out. This application is, accordingly, dismissed.

The petitioner is directed to surrender before the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18801 of 2019(2) dt.28-03-2019 2/2 Court below within a period of four weeks from today and seek regular bail, if so advised. If he does so, his application for regular bail shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced by rejection of the present application for grant of anticipatory bail by this Court.
