The limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present writ petition is to direct the Circle Officer, Khanpur, District-Samastipur to dispose off the pending Encroachment Case bearing Encroachment Case No.04 of 2022-23. 2.
The learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that in case the aforesaid encroachment proceedings have not yet been concluded, the same shall definitely be concluded within a stipulated time frame.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to dispose off the present writ petition with a direction to the Circle Officer, Khanpur, District-
Patna High Court CWJC No.5607 of 2023 dt.12-07-2023 2/2 Samastipur to conclude the aforesaid encroachment proceedings and pass the final order under Section 6(1) of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956, after hearing the affected parties and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
