Mr. Sri Shailendra Kumar -1 ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 03-12-2018 Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The petitioner seeks bail in S.T. No. 177 of 2018 arising out of Salaiya P.S. Case No. 10 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149,341,307,353, 124 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 25 (1b) a, 26,35 of the Arms Act, Sections 3⁄4 of the E. S. Act and Section 17 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act. Considering the criminal antecedent of the petitioner as is evident from the statement made in paragraph 3 of the application which contains at least ten cases of serious nature, I am not inclined to grant the privilege of regular bail. Learned counsel for the petitioner has attempted to persuade this Court that the person on whose disclosure,
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.66580 of 2018(2) dt.03-12-2018 2/2 petitioner has been implicated, has been granted regular bail. That, in my view is not an adequate ground for release of the petitioner on bail.
This application is, accordingly, rejected.
It is, however, observed that the Court below should make endeavour to conclude the trial expeditiously. (Chakradhari Sharan Singh, J) arun/- U
