Petitioner is in custody in connection with Dhoraiya P.S. Case No. 34 of 2020 (Special Case No. 66 of 2020) for the offence under Section 37(c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Allegation against this petitioner is that he has consumed liquor.

The petitioner is in custody since 9.2.2020.

Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19286 of 2020(3) dt.03-06-2020 2/2 furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge, Banka, in connection with Dhoraiya P.S. Case No. 34 of 2020 (Special Case No. 66 of 2020) subject to the condition that the petitioner on release has to render his service as a volunteer for a period of one month in Covid-19 hospital and he is required to report to the distinct Nodal Officer who shall utilize the service of the petitioner.
