The petitioner, who is in custody since 12.02.2020 and is stated to be a person of clean antecedent, seeks bail in connection with Masaurhi P.S. Case No. 73 of 2020 dated 08.02.2020 instituted for the offence under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code. The FIR is against unknown. A tractor is said to have been stolen. According to the allegation, the stolen tractor is stated to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. This fact is vehemently denied on behalf of the petitioner. The petitioner claims to have been made accused in this case only on the basis of misconception of some of the persons and the local police that he had stolen the tractor.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18840 of 2020(2) dt.09-06-2020 2/2 Regard being had to the nature of accusation against the petitioner and his period of custody, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Masauri, Patna in connection with Masaurhi P.S. Case No. 73 of 2020.
