Petitioner is an accused in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 307 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

Prosecution's case, in brief, is that the petitioner assaulted the informant's husband with Hasuli causing cut injuries on his body.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case on suspicion due to previous enmity. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 7.1.2020. Learned counsel for the State points out that the injured himself has stated that the petitioner caused injury to him.
