Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to remove defect(s), as pointed out by the office, if any, within a period of four weeks from today.

This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Lakhisarai P.S. Case No. 718 of 2019 for the offence punishable under Sections 406, 409, 420/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that, without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the petitioner which may be raised during trial, the petitioner is ready to deposit an amount of Rs.2,00,000/- in the Nagar Parishad, Lakhisarai.

Considering the aforesaid submission of learned

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31559 of 2021(6) dt.28-04-2022 2/2 counsel for the petitioner and also the fact that there is no chance of his absconding, this bail application is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest/surrender within four weeks from today in the Court below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lakhisarai, in connection with Lakhisarai P.S. Case No. 718 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

The bail bonds of the petitioner shall be accepted by the Court below if the petitioner produces a receipt showing deposit of Rs.2,00,000/- in the Nagar Parishad, Lakhisarai. The petitioner will not seek any refund of amount even if he is acquitted in the trial.
