Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8 and 20 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code.

From the motorcycle 169 bottles containing 100 ml. each Corex and Escuf syrup was recovered. The petitioner was also on the said motorcycle.

Submission of the petitioner is that the total quantity of codeine was much below the small quantity of 10 grams prescribed under the law and the petitioner is in custody since 09.08.2016. He has got no criminal antecedent. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner,
