2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Govindganj (Malahi) P.S. Case No. 596 of 2023, registered for the offence under Sections 364A, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of kidnapping the victim for ransom. He is named in the F.I.R.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. He further submits that the parties have compromised the case and therefore petitioner may be granted bail. The petitioner has one criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 14.05.2024.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that in the trial, two witnesses have turned hostile.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts, this application is allowed.

7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari/concerned Court below in connection with Sessions Trial No. 881 of 2024/Govindganj (Malahi) P.S. Case No. 596 of 2023.
