In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection Patliputra P.S. Case No.290 of 2016, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 47, 48, 54 and 55 of the Bihar Excise Act.

It is one of the shocking case when the wife has been arrested by the police only on the ground that her husband was not there and she was holding a key of Maruti Car, which cannot be a ground for the arrest of the lady from her house.
