The petitioner, who is in custody since 04.02.2020, seeks bail in connection with Muffasil (Lakhaura) P. S. Case No. 511 of 2017 dated 21.09.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 420, 379, 342, 307, 120(B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner is not named in the F.I.R.
The informant alleges that he was robbed of his Scorpio Vehicle. Later, the name of the petitioner transpired during the course of investigation on the confession of some
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19629 of 2020(2) dt.26-06-2020 2/2 of the arrested accused persons. Those accused persons, who have named the petitioner, have been granted bail by different Benches of this Court, some of which orders have been annexed with the bail petition.
The petitioner earlier was made accused in a case but in the aforesaid case, he is on bail.
Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Muffasil (Lakhaura) P. S. Case No. 511 of 2017.
The petition stands allowed.
