This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Bheldi P.S. Case No.359 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8/20(b)(ii)(c)/29 of NDPS Act. As per the F.I.R, on 13.10.2022, the police got secret information that one Santosh Mahto @ Santosh Sahani kept ganja behind his house. On the basis of the said information, the police party reached the house of the petitioner and on search about 21.227 kg. of ganja was recovered. Considering the quantity of ganja recovered behind the house of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.22709 of 2023(2) dt.17-05-2023 2/2 petitioner. Accordingly, this regular bail application is dismissed. If there is no substantial progress in the trial, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
