The petitioner seeks bail in Sohail P.S. Case No. 14/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The brother of the deceased made allegation that his sister was married to Prakash Das son of the petitioner about three years ago, but the accused persons were torturing his sister. The accused persons killed his sister and concealed her dead-body. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased. The petitioner has no manner of concern with the family affairs of the informant, deceased and her husband. Omnibus and general allegation is made. Of course, the deceased got many injuries, but it was the husband who assaulted

Learned A.P.P. opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased and he is in jail since 03.07.2016, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Sherghati, Gaya in connection with Sohail P.S. Case No. 14/2016.
