Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a)/38(i)/41(i) of under Section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Allegation is of recovery of 2943.720 litres of illicit liquor from the truck boarded by the petitioners. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the petitioners are Driver and Khalashi of the vehicle and were not aware about illicit liquor kept in the vehicle. Petitioners have got no criminal antecedent and are in custody since 20.02.2020.

Since, there is recovery of huge quantity of illicit

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19307 of 2020(4) dt.09-09-2020 2/2 liquor, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is hereby rejected.
