JUSTICE PARTHA SARTHY ORAL ORDER 05-05-2026 The petitioner has filed the instant application for the following relief (s) :- "1. That this writ application on behalf of the petitioner aforesaid is directed for issuance of appropriate writ(s) direction(s) order(s) preferably in the nature of certiorari for quashing the letter No. 600 dated 14.02.2026 issued by the Under Secretary Department of Urban Development and Housing Govt. of Bihar, Patna whereby and whereunder appointment of petitioner on the post of Head Clerk Islampur Nagar Parishad has been cancelled with immediate effect.

And for further quashing the

Patna High Court CWJC No.6867 of 2026(2) dt.05-05-2026 2/2 consequential letter No. 167 dated 27.02.2006 issued by Executive Officer, Nagar Parishad Islampur whereby petitioner has been removed from service.

And for granting other relief for which petitioner is found to be entitled."

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it subsequently transpired that the petitioner had filed an earlier writ application being CWJC no.4998 of 2026 for the same/similar relief which is pending.

3. Thus learned counsel for petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the instant application.

4. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the case of the petitioner, the application is disposed of as withdrawn.
