ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 22-06-2015 The Petitioner seeks revision of the judgment of conviction dated 17.6.2003 passed by the 7th Additional Sessions Judge, Munger in Criminal Appeal No.140 of 1999, by which he has affirmed the judgment dated 14.9.1999 passed by the Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Munger in Complaint case No.371C of 1990 (Trial No.50 of 1999), by which he has sentenced the Petitioner to undergo rigorous imprisonment for two years and a fine of Rs.200/- under Section 498A I.P.C.
Having gone through the successive impugned judgment, I do not find any merit in the application.
However, considering the period of custody as well as the date
Patna High Court CR. REV. No.540 of 2003 dt.22-06-2015 of occurrence, the sentence is reduced to one already undergone by the Petitioner during trial.
With the aforesaid modification in sentence, the application stands dismissed.
