The present writ application has been filed seeking quashing of the advertisement published in the daily newspaper "Hindustan' on 1st August, 2014 issued by the Department of Agriculture, Government of Bihar for appointment of Block Technical Manager, Assistant Technical Manager and Accountant and further for a direction to make relaxation of upper age limit up to 65 years, in place of 37 years, in terms of the resolution of the
Patna High Court CWJC No.19542 of 2014 dt.05-12-2022 2/2 Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department, Government of Bihar.

At the outset, learned counsel for the State submits that the policy decision taken by the State Government governing the selection process has been upheld by the Coordinate Benches of this Court, the order of which have been brought on record vide Annexure-B Series to the counter affidavit. It is further submitted that the copy of the counter affidavit has been served upon the learned counsel for the petitioners way back on 27.01.2015 itself, but till date no response to the counter affidavit has been filed.
4. Considering the aforesaid facts, the present writ application sans any merit and, accordingly, the same is fit to be dismissed.
