The petitioner seeks bail in Laukahi P.S. Case No. 101/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 413, 414 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-b)A and 26 of the Arms Act.
The police got information that the petitioner had kept stolen motorcycle of Nitish Kumar Yadav and Ramkumar Yadav. On search, two motorcycles and one country-made gun with three live cartridges were recovered.
It is submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in jail since 30.06.2016. The petitioner is not the owner of the motorcyles and the same were recovered from lonely abandoned place.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.55374 of 2016 (3) dt.01-03-2017 Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jhanjharpur, Madhubani in connection with Laukahi P.S. Case No. 101/2016.
