This application for grant of anticipatory bail arises out of Kotwali P.S. Case No. 24 of 2016, disclosing offences under Sections 419,420,465,468,471 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code. From the First Information Report, it appears that there is allegation that a gang is operating, which dupes unemployed youth in the name of arranging public employment in their favour. Petitioner is named in the First Information Report. From the First Information Report, it appears that there is allegation that he is an active member of the said gang.

In such circumstance, I am not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail as his custodial interrogation appears

to be imperative.

This application is rejected.

The petitioner is directed to surrender before the Court below within four weeks from today and seek regular bail, if so advised, If he does so, his application for regular bail shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced by rejection of present application for grant of anticipatory bail by this court (Chakradhari Sharan Singh, J) ArunKumar/-c U
