JUSTICE RAJAN GUPTA) 16-05-2022 The present writ petition has been filed for seeking a Mandamus for awarding compensation of a sum of Rs. 4 lacs in favour of the petitioner on the plea that the son of the petitioner Late Pradeep Kumar died on 13.09.2018 due to electrocution, who was working as an employee of Lumino Industries Limited i.e. the respondent no. 4 herein.
Admittedly, there is a Circular/ Regulation of the respondent- Company which deals with such issues. At the outset, the learned counsel appearing for the North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited submits that
Patna High Court CWJC No.5954 of 2022(2) dt.16-05-2022 2/2 the entire matter shall be examined by the Executive Engineer, Electric Supply Division, Madhubani i.e. the respondent no. 3 as per law.
Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off with liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate application before the respondent no. 3 within a period of three weeks from today and if it is found that the petitioner is entitled to compensation, the same shall be paid to him forthwith, however, this will be subject to verification of all the documents and completion of formalities.
