JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 18-04-2019 The present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondent- authorities to appoint the petitioner on compassionate ground in lieu of death of his father in harness on 05.11.2008.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that immediately after the death of his father, the petitioner had filed appropriate application before the concerned authority, which has also been forwarded by the Headmaster of the school to the District Education Officer, Buxar vide letter dated 01.07.2009, however despite lapse of about 10 years, no action has been

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and appropriate to direct the District Magistrate, Buxar to take a decision with regard to the case of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground, in case appropriate application has been filed by the petitioner. The District Magistrate, Buxar shall be obliged to pass a reasoned and a speaking order regarding the case of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.

The present writ petition stands disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
