The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Arra Mufassil P.S. Case No.271 of 2016 registered under Sections 341, 323, 324, 308, 504 and 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhojpur at Arra.

The accusation is that on 28.09.2016 in the morning, when Dhananjay Singh, the brother of the informant Janmjay Singh, had gone to Gumti to bring some goods then Jitendra Singh, Dharmendra Singh and Kanhaiya Singh (petitioner) assaulted him through fists and slaps. Thereafter, besides Jitenrdra Singh,

No.13501 of 2017 (2) dt.02-05-2017 2/2 Dharmendra Singh, and Kanhaiya Singh (petitioner), Vikash Singh, Sita Devi, Asha Devi, Lalti Devi and Malti Devi came to the house of informant and Sita Devi threw chilly powder at the eyes of the informant and Jitendra Singh assaulted the informant through Bhala causing bruise injury on the wrist of his right hand. At that time, Kanhaiya Singh (petitioner) entering into the house of the informant snatched the gold chain from the neck of the wife of the informant and took the licensee revolver of the father of the informant and threw some document in the courtyard. Having considered the facts and the circumstances of the case and the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer of the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail stands rejected. (Rajendra Kumar Mishra, J) P.S./- U T
