Petitioners, who are in custody, seek bail in connection with Katihar Muffasil P.S. Case No. 145 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 201, 498(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of D.P. Act.
Allegation against petitioners and other family members is of torturing and killing the daughter of the informant due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that they are innocent and have been falsely implicated in this case. Petitioner no. 1 and 2 is Dewar and petitioner no. 3 is
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.66337 of 2018(2) dt.20-11-2018 2/2 mother-in-law of the deceased. Petitioners have no criminal antecedent and they are in custody since 19.06.2018. Considering the aforesaid fact and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Katihar in connection with Katihar Muffasil P.S. Case No. 145 of 2018.
