1. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the State.

2. Mr. P. N. Pathak, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the Executive Engineer, Rural Works

Patna High Court CWJC No.6436 of 2019(2) dt.23-04-2019 2/3 Department, Works Division, Motihari to dispose off the representation which has been given by the petitioners on 12.11.2018.

3. The petitioners are aggrieved by the fact that the provident fund amount, which has been deducted from their salary during the period they had served as workcharged employee, was not transferred with interest in the new account of provident fund in Directorate of Provident Fund as per Clause 2(1) of the Office order issued under the signature of Deputy Secretary, Rural Works Department, Bihar, Patna.

4. The prayer of the petitioners appears to be genuine.

5. On the petitioners making a fresh representation before the Executive Engineer, Rural Works Department, Works Division, Motihari (Respondent No. 5), detailing their grievances, within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be disposed off by the concerned respondent by a reasoned order within a further period of six weeks thereafter.

6. If the claim of the petitioners is found to be tenable, necessary sequel orders may be passed within the aforesaid period.

7. With the aforesaid observation / direction, this petition stands disposed off.
