Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 26.03.2021 and has antecedent of twelve cases, it is next submitted that out of twelve cases, four cases have been instituted by the present informant himself against the petitioner and in rest of the cases, the petitioner is on bail.

It is next submitted that the informant alleges that he received extortion call on his mobile number from Mobile No. 8222060511 asking him to pay Rs. 10 lacs within twenty-four hours failing which consequences would follow and, thereafter, an adjacent shopkeeper also received extortion call on his

Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner and submits that the petitioner has antecedent of twelve cases.

Considering the submissions made by the learned A.P.P. for the State, the Court is not inclined to release the petitioner on bail, however, the petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge as it has been submitted that the mobile was recovered from the possession of Sanjay.
