The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Nalanda Sadar Mahila P.S. Case No. 03 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498(A) and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

As per the prosecution case, petitioner along with others committed torture and harassment for dowry. It is submitted that petitioner is father-in-law of the informant. There is general and omnibus allegation. Petitioner is separate in mess and property and has got no concern with the family affairs of the informant and her husband. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

No.21615 of 2022(2) dt.05-09-2022 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner abovenamed, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Nalanda in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 03 of 2022, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
