The petitioner has filed the writ application seeking refund of the amount of Rs. 2,00,000/- towards Beer Bar Licence which had been deposited earlier for renewal of the said licence, but the same was not renewed and the petitioner is not interested now in renewal and wants refund of the amount.
In the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the Excise Department it is admitted that the advance licence fee of Rs.2,00,000/- is refundable to the petitioner and the same shall be refunded after
Patna High Court CWJC No.21276 of 2014 dt.19-01-2015 receiving the allotment from the Excise Department. In the aforesaid circumstances, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to ensure that the amount is refunded to the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
