1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State.

2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Nathnagar (Madhusudanpur) P.S. Case No. 864 of 2022 dated 08.11.2022 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20 and 22 of N.D.P.S. Act.

3. The main submissions advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner are that as per the allegation, only 32.63 mg. of narcotic material suspected to be brown sugar was allegedly recovered from the possession of this petitioner and the said quantity of the alleged contraband comes in the purview of small quantity and the petitioner has fair and clean antecedent and has been languishing in jail since 09.11.2022 and against

4. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the bail prayer.

5. Considering the above submissions and mainly the petitioner's young age, his custody period, completion of the investigation against him and the quantity of the alleged contraband as pointed out by learned counsel for the petitioner, in my opinion it is a fit case for bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned in connection with Nathnagar (Madhusudanpur) P.S. Case No. 864 of 2022.
