2. The petitioners seek bail in connection with Vaishali (O.P. Belsar) P.S. Case No. 523 of 2024 instituted for the offences under Sections 87/3(5) of the BNS.
3. Prosecution story, in short, is that, on the alleged date and time of occurrence, the co-accused Sonu Kumar kidnapped the daughter of the informant on the point of pistol. It is further alleged that when the informant visited the house of the accused Sonu Kumar, his parents, i.e. these petitioners

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that petitioners have falsely been implicated in the present case. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that general and omnibus allegation has been made against these petitioners. No specific overt act is alleged against these petitioners. Learned counsel further submitted that petitioners are being dragged in this case merely because they are the parents of the co-accused Sonu Kumar against whom there is allegation of kidnapping the daughter of the informant. Learned counsel further submitted that there is neither any iota of evidence nor any material on record to show the complicity of the petitioners in the alleged occurrence. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the petitioners are in custody since 13.12.2024 and have no criminal antecedent.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioners.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, there being no specific allegation against the petitioners as also the period of custody undergone by them, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.
7. Let the petitioners be released on bail on furnishing
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20256 of 2025(2) dt.16-04-2025 3/3 bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court below/concerned Court in connection with Vaishali (O.P. Belsar) P.S. Case No. 523 of 2024.
