Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

Petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8/20(b) (2)/13/27 A of N.D.P.S. Act.

Allegation is recovery of 3-4 Kg of Ganja from the bag of the petitioner.

It has been submitted on behalf of petitioner that he is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case only on the basis of suspicion. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 28.01.2020.

No.18957 of 2020(2) dt.09-06-2020 2/2 In view of recovery of 3-4 Kg of Ganja from conscious possession of petitioner which is more than small quantity but less than commercial quantity, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage, hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.

However, petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after one year of custody.
