The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 60(C) of 2015 instituted under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation, in brief, is that the accused persons used to torture the complainant, whose marriage was solemnized in the year 2011, for realizing further demand of dowry of Rs. one lac and her husband, who is an electrician in a private company, does not give any money for getting maintenance of the complainant and her daughter.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the

No.15237 of 2017 (2) dt.12-04-2017 2/2 petitioners are the father-in-law, mother-in-law, elder brother of her husband and his wife and the allegations are general and omnibus against them and the husband is not the petitioner. Learned counsel for the complainant submits the husband of the complainant had taken her by giving affidavit in the court, but even thereafter, she was tortured and ousted her from house.

Having considered the facts that the petitioners are the father-in-law, mother-in-law, elder brother of the husband of the complaint and his wife, namely, Dipa Rai, Shiv Kumari Devi, Dinesh Rai @ Ram Dinesh Rai and Putul Devi respectively and the allegation against them are general and omnibus, so they are directed to be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within four weeks from today, upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Barh, Patna in connection with Complaint Case No. 60(C) of 2015; subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
